About Stitching Me Softly
I am Emma and I run Stitching Me Softly, a crochet and craft kit business, from my studio in Bristol.
I have always been creative and taught myself to crochet 8 years ago.
I then spent some time developing my skills before launching Stitching Me Softly in 2017, just after the birth of my third daughter.
I began designing baby and children’s items as I wanted something specific for my own children that I couldn’t find on the high street.
I am drawn to simple geometric shapes and contrasting colour pallets, and this theme is reflected in my crochet designs.
I really enjoy designing new products which inspire the creativity in other people. This has led to designing a range of Craft Kits and running workshops around the UK.
The Craft Kits have become so popular that they are now the main focus of the business.
Sustainability is really important to me and guides my decisions when choosing materials and packaging options.
I have recently partnered with Ecologi and now plant 1 tree for every Craft Kit sold.
